Lakshmi Appadoo is a law graduate from the Queen Mary University of London with nearly twenty years’ experience at the Bank of Mauritius where she served at strategic level as Head of the Governor’s Office. She is now part of the management as well as a trainer at the Financial Services Institute which operates as the capacity building arm of the Ministry of Financial Services and Good Governance with a mandate of maintaining competency standards in the Financial Services Sector.

She is the Chairperson of the Financial Services Fund at the Financial Services Commission with an important financial literacy mission which goes well with her innate passion for outreach activities. She also has a keen interest and is involved in philanthropic work.
